Тrends and market development of interior materials were discussed in Barnaul

Kastamonu continues its marathon of partnership meetings, which in 2026 has already covered several cities. On July 22-23, the company held its traditional Kastamonu Sweet Day event in Barnaul, bringing together experts and partners to discuss current market trends, new products, and the development prospects of the flooring segment in the region.

Barnaul, often called the gateway to Altai, became an important stage in Kastamonu's event marathon. This region, rich in natural beauty, serves as an ideal location to showcase flooring solutions that combine the aesthetics of natural materials with advanced technologies.

The program was structured into two themed days and included expert insights on modern trends, discussions on current issues regarding products, consumer demands, and the development of the finishing materials market. The first day was dedicated to decorative panels: participants explored new collections, their features, and potential applications. The second day focused on flooring, with attention centered on the company's key collections. The laminate flooring Floorpan and the premium series La Moena impressed with their realistic natural textures, enhanced water resistance, and premium quality.

As part of the business program, experts from partner companies joined representatives of Kastamonu to share their industry expertise. Representatives from Impress, a manufacturer of decorative coatings, shared insights into this year's relevant interior trends, while AMDPR experts provided a professional perspective on the development of the interior market. Event guests discussed changes in consumer preferences, key industry development directions, and outlined further steps for active and effective collaboration.

One of the most spectacular highlights of the event was a unique stress test for flooring: horses, which guests could ride, walked on the Craft Core stone-polymer composite. The demonstration clearly showcased the unique properties of the material— the flooring remained undamaged, preserved its appearance, and proved its reliability and durability even under intense pressure.

"The Kastamonu Sweet Day event in Barnaul was an important step in strengthening ties with the professional community of the Altai region and showcasing new solutions for interior projects in the area. It was particularly important for us to discuss current market demands with colleagues, exchange experiences, and better understand consumer preferences. Engaging dialogue with partners always provides the most valuable insights and offers new perspectives on some industry development issues. Through such communication and attention to detail, we achieve the main goal of our brand—not just to create products, but to give people the opportunity to realize their dreams in interiors, following the slogan 'Color. Energy. Towards the Dream,'" shared Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu Russia.
