In St. Petersburg, the first day of Kastamonu Sweet Day, dedicated to decorative panels and interior trends, took place
On July 30th, the first day of the two-day series Kastamonu Sweet Days took place in St. Petersburg, where leading designers, architects, and company partners gathered to discuss current trends and innovations in interior finishes. On this day, special attention was given to decorative panels, which are becoming increasingly significant elements in modern interior design.
Petersburg residents have always been known for their refined taste and commitment to exquisite materials. For them, every element of the interior is not just an object but a part of history, making the choice of materials particularly important. This year, in anticipation of autumn, when there is a desire to add coziness and warmth to spaces, Kastamonu presented new collections of decorative panels from the brands Evogloss, Acrylic, and Evosoft, which are perfect for creating stylish and durable interiors.
"In the heart of St. Petersburg, at the unique hotel-museum located in the famous Eliseev Palace, we held our traditional Kastamonu Sweet Day. Surrounded by history and luxury, we talked about the connection between fashion and time, about modern trends shaping the future of the industry, about design solutions inspiring people to renovate and transform spaces, and about the prospects opening up for us and our partners," noted Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu Russia.
The event featured a speech by Timur Irtuganov, General Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia. He revealed key trends in the industry's changes and the prospects for the development of the furniture and woodworking sector in Russia as a whole. Another invited speaker at Sweet Day was Olga Kachanova, a blogger, author, and host of the channel "How Others Live". The media expert spoke about the current preferences of Petersburg residents when choosing finishing materials. In her opinion, city residents are increasingly oriented towards natural textures and matte surfaces, which also support the overall trend towards minimalism in Russia.
The Kastamonu Sweet Day event in St. Petersburg confirmed its role as an important platform for discussing new solutions in the field of finishes and design. The event provided an excellent opportunity for experience exchange and familiarization with cutting-edge trends in the industry, as well as for establishing business contacts among industry professionals. Event guests were able to interact with experts and discuss how decorative panels can change the perception of interiors and become not only decorative elements but also functional solutions.
