Trends and developments in the interior materials market were discussed in Pyatigorsk

According to the publication "Vedomosti Yug," the trend towards "warm minimalism" and the use of natural materials in interiors is strengthening in 2025-2026. Among the most in-demand solutions are wood decors, natural shades, and textured surfaces. Against the backdrop of growing interest in natural aesthetics and contemporary interior solutions, Kastamonu held its traditional event for distributors, Kastamonu Sweet Day, in Pyatigorsk.

On May 20-21, 2026, Kastamonu brought together experts and partners to discuss current market trends, new products, and the development prospects of the flooring and decorative panel segments. Pyatigorsk became the first city in 2026 to host the company's series of traditional partner events. Following this, Kastamonu will visit Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Samara, and Tyumen.

The program of the event was divided into two thematic days. On May 20, the focus was on decorative panels, new technologies in MDF production, and modern approaches to creating contemporary interior solutions. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Evosoft brand decorative panel collection, which has already earned recognition among furniture industry professionals for its innovative double-sided coating, modern designs, and high performance characteristics. Kastamonu experts also showcased high-quality glossy and matte panels from the Evogloss brand, as well as extra matte Acrymat and high-gloss Acrylic panels. Participants noted the on-trend color solutions, the materials' resistance to stains and scratches, and the pleasant tactile properties of the coatings.

On May 21, participants discussed key issues in the flooring market, modern architectural trends, and innovative solutions in laminate production. Special attention was given to the premium flooring brand La Moena, which combines the cultures and best practices of Turkey and Italy. Experts presented new laminate collections and highlighted the key features of the flooring — resistance to moisture, wear, scratches, and ease of maintenance. Additionally, Kastamonu speakers introduced flagship collections such as Floorpan and the next-generation stone-polymer composite Craft Core, designed for those aiming to transform spaces into expressive interiors with thoughtful aesthetics and bold accents.

The event's business program featured experts in flooring and decorative panel production, including Kastamonu specialists and company partners such as representatives from Impress. They shared industry expertise, discussed modern trends, and presented relevant solutions for the interior market. Guests of the event were the first to learn about Kastamonu's latest innovations and had the opportunity to discuss changes in consumer preferences and key directions for industry development with company representatives.

Special emphasis was placed on informal communication and networking. Guests participated in discussions, explored modern market trends, and exchanged professional experiences in a comfortable atmosphere.

"The marathon of traditional events for our company, Kastamonu Sweet Day, kicked off in Pyatigorsk in 2026. Following the philosophy of our slogan, 'Color. Energy. Towards the Dream,' we continue to actively grow, inspire the market with new ideas, and present contemporary collections of flooring and decorative panels. For us, it’s important not just to offer modern products but to be a part of the trends and ideas that shape the future of the industry," noted Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing for Kastamonu Russia.
