Trends and Market Development of Interior Materials Discussed in Krasnoyarsk
According to the publication "Rambler / Home and Comfort," the Siberian region is expected to witness a growing popularity of a design trend that combines eco-minimalism with ethnic motifs in 2025–2026. Flooring with pronounced wood textures, warm natural tones, and tactile surfaces that evoke a connection to the harsh yet generous nature of the region are particularly in demand. Against the backdrop of increasing interest in authentic aesthetics and modern interior solutions, Kastamonu held its traditional event for distributors, retailers, designers, and partners — Kastamonu Sweet Day — in Krasnoyarsk.
On June 24 and 25, 2026, experts and partners gathered for the two-day Kastamonu Sweet Day event in Krasnoyarsk to discuss key market trends, new product launches, and the further development of flooring and decorative panel segments. Krasnoyarsk became the second city of 2026 to host the marathon of traditional partner events, following Pyatigorsk. Next stops for Kastamonu include Barnaul, Vladivostok, Samara, and Tyumen.
The event program was divided into two thematic days. On June 24, the focus was on Kastamonu's decorative panels, showcasing new products from the Evogloss and Evosoft brands, renowned for their exceptional qualities: resistance to scratches, fading, and stains. These materials offer vast possibilities for creating durable and aesthetic interiors that maintain a flawless appearance even under heavy use. Personalization is becoming one of the main trends today, and the wide color palette of the brand's panels enables the realization of any design ideas — from calm and neutral to bold and daring — creating interiors that fully reflect the owners' character. Additionally, the day featured presentations from partners at Impress, offering insights into this year's interior trends, as well as experts from AMDPR, who shared professional perspectives on the development of the interior market. A highlight of the day was the crash tests of TOP FASAD, which vividly demonstrated the resilience of façade systems to everyday damage.
The second day, June 25, was dedicated to flooring. Participants were introduced to an innovative product — the stone-polymer composite Craft Core — combining reliability, practicality, and aesthetics. The material is water-resistant, scratch-proof, dirt-repellent, and stain-resistant, making it an ideal choice for modern interiors. Special attention was paid to the "herringbone" installation technique, which gives floors an expressive and elegant look. Attendees also explored key collections of laminated flooring, including the Floorpan series and the premium La Moena line, known for their exceptional quality, 24-hour water resistance, and precise wood texture reproduction.
In addition to the business program, informal networking received significant attention. Guests actively participated in discussions, shared case studies, and found common interests in a relaxed atmosphere. Musical performances and dance breaks added vibrancy and emotional depth to the event.
"Krasnoyarsk became the second city in the Kastamonu Sweet Day marathon, and we are delighted to see the high interest here in modern interior solutions. The Siberian market has always been known for its strong professional community and high standards for quality and design. Following our motto 'Color. Energy. Toward the Dream,' we continue an open dialogue with partners to jointly create products that meet the market's current demands. Ahead are new cities, new meetings, and new ideas that will inspire the industry," shared Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing for Kastamonu Russia.
