Kastamonu Entegre Meets the Design World at FDI 2026
Kastamonu Entegre, one of the leading global manufacturers in the wood-based panel industry, took part in Furnishings & Design Istanbul (FDI) 2026, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from September 24–26. Showcasing its décor and surface solutions for furniture and interior spaces, the company brought architects, designers and manufacturers together at its booth.
At FDI 2026, which brings the worlds of design and the furniture industry together, Kastamonu Entegre shared the various application possibilities of its products across different projects with industry professionals. The company’s décor and surface solutions attracted strong interest from visitors, while discussions at the booth covered a wide range of topics, from color, texture and material selection to application requirements.
Throughout the fair, architects and designers had the opportunity to closely examine the materials they were considering for their projects. Discussions with furniture manufacturers focused on how design ideas could be translated into production processes. Kastamonu Entegre viewed the fair, which brought together professionals from different disciplines at a single meeting point, as part of its ongoing dialogue with the industry
A Design Network Extending Beyond the Fair
Kastamonu Entegre’s engagement with the design world extends beyond its participation in trade fairs through centers established in different countries and cities. The company’s Design Center in Pesaro, Italy, provides a space where décor collections can be reviewed and sample studies can be prepared for customers. The Kastamonu Entegre Concept Studio at the company’s Istanbul Headquarters brings different application alternatives for its products together with architects, designers and industry professionals.
The Kastamonu Entegre Experience Center, launched by the company in İnegöl in September, extends this approach to one of Türkiye’s key furniture manufacturing hubs. The center serves as a workspace where architects, designers, installers and manufacturers can examine materials together, evaluate alternatives for their projects and exchange ideas.
Talha Aydın, Vice President responsible for Sales and Marketing at Kastamonu Entegre, evaluated the company’s participation in FDI 2026 as follows:
“When discussing our products with a designer, what matters most to us is understanding what they want to bring to life in their project and being able to offer the right solution. At FDI, we evaluated the different application possibilities of our materials with architects and designers and listened directly to the needs and expectations of industry professionals.
It is important to us that these conversations do not end with the fair. Through the design and experience centers we have established, we continue to come together with industry professionals and explore different ideas together. By working closely with the design world,
we place great importance on transforming our global production capabilities into innovative solutions tailored to specific needs.”
Kastamonu Entegre, the leader in its sector in Türkiye and the third-largest producer in Europe and fourth-largest in the world in MDF and particleboard production, concluded FDI 2026 with meetings and discussions with designers and manufacturers. The fair added a new meeting point to the dialogue Kastamonu Entegre has established between its global production expertise and the world of design.
