KASTAMONU ENTEGRE TAKES THIRD PLACE IN INOVALIG TURKEY

Standing out with its works in innovation and R&D, Kastamonu Entegre ranked at the top three in Turkey for the third time in "Innovation Strategy" in the Large Scale category at the InovaLIG Award Ceremony held as part of the 9th Turkey Innovation Week.

Turkey's most innovative companies were decided at the 9th Turkey Innovation Week organized by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Commerce. Kastamonu Entegre, a global brand of the wood-based panel industry, was awarded the third-place prize in “Innovation Strategy” in the Large Scale category this year as well.

As part of the "New Century of Innovation" theme week, the prizes delivered in 5 different categories under Turkey's first innovation development program InovaLIG were handed to their owners during the ceremony held at the Haliç Congress Center.

Receiving the prize from the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and TIM's President Mustafa Gültepe, Kastamonu Entegre's CEO Haluk Yıldız remarked that the concept of innovation is an integral component of their corporate culture and said, “It is a great honor and also an important source of motivation for us to be the holder of the InovaLIG - Innovation Strategy Award for three consecutive years.”

Indicating that they, as Kastamonu Entegre, consider innovation a means of meeting the needs of the time and achieving sustainable growth, Haluk Yıldız said, “Innovation is the most important tool we use in our production of high-quality products for enhancing competitiveness and efficiency”.

Yıldız continued his speech saying,
“Thanks to our structuring in Teknopark Istanbul, we carry out successful projects in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TUBITAK, Turkey's leading universities, start-ups and international organizations. Additionally, we allow our employees to be involved in innovation processes through the Idea Platform we have established within the company. We guide the innovative ideas being put into practice thanks to this platform which we built around the principles of empathy, intellectual equivalence and collective intelligence. Our being deemed worthy of this valuable award for three consecutive years was greatly contributed by all our colleagues who put lots of effort in the development of the innovation culture in our company, especially our Business Planning and Innovation Directorate. I would like to take this chance to thank every one of them.
