Kastamonu Entegre Supporting Cultural Sustainability

A global brand in the wood-based panel industry, Kastamonu Entegre continues to integrate its sustainability approach with cultural and artistic initiatives. The company contributed to the “Sustainable Craft Exhibition” by providing material support for the project, which aims to reinterpret cultural heritage through a contemporary design conception and carry it into the future.

Craft and design combined together

Organized as part of the “Attraction Center Craft Project” launched by the IDEALIST Sectoral Cooperation and Solidarity Committee, the exhibition showcases a wide range of creative works. From ceramics to various glass working techniques such as fusion and blowing, and from traditional crafts like weaving, carving, and turning, the pieces are rebuilt using a modern design language.

Functional solutions through eco-friendly materials

The environmentally friendly PureBoard, which is made from 100% recyclable materials and free of formaldehyde with its composition equivalent to natural wood, was used in the backdrops and pedestals of the exhibited works. Standing out specifically in museums, galleries, and cultural spaces for its contribution to indoor air quality, PureBoard provides a healthy and aesthetically pleasing surface solution, offering a functional base for the exhibited pieces.

Bringing together designers and craftspeople within the same production process, the “Sustainable Craft Exhibition” aims to help preserve and carry cultural heritage into the future. The exhibition is open to visitors until June 15 at addressistanbul IDEALIST Center.
